I thought it was interesting to hear how much the people in Iran love to watch soccer. Even when they can get in trouble for going they still take that risk. That day the police could not stop them showed how much they wanted to see the game.
The driving in Iran sounds real crazy. I did not think that 3000 people died from car accidents. The pollution sounds real bad since the kids at the school can not breath. It shows how lucky we are to live in the United States.
Im no too suprised by the number of accidednts. If ya look at the stats; it's safer to be in Iraq as a soldier than drive to work in Philly. Driving can be very dangerous, and this is compounded when you add huge numbers of foot traffic and old vehicals. Iraqs roads are also not quite as devoloped as our own. Never-the-less, it does seem to be a hard fact to swallow.
ReplyDeleteIt agree it is surprising they like soccer so much. I think soccer is boring to both play and watch and i dont understand how they would risk their welfare to partake in it.
ReplyDeleteIt actually doesn't surprise me that they like soccer so much. Many people love sports a lot football in the US is huge and soccer throughout the rest of the world sports are very intertaining so the fact that they love it so much doesn't surprise me the fact that they can hurt their welfare and they still do it does.
